In 1860 the Asperense physician Winkler departed to Strijen. Because he also was charged with the care for the poormanshealth, the filling in of his vacancy had to take into account the feelings of the consistory of NH church. The poormanshealth was in accordance with an agreement between the civil and NH churches a matter of the church, financially supported by the municipal council with the income from the Gasthuisfonds. The vacancy was not immediately fulfilled. Winkler had by January 1 of that year prompted resignation, but asked if the end of November 1859 permission to leave. When stated on November 12 the consistory no objection to having provided the medical care was on the spot.
